Nothing says Christmas like decorations. The one thing I miss about my kids being little, is the excitement of putting up the tree and getting the decorations out. Even though Sam is willing to help, at 15 he’s not as excited. As for Alan, I think it’s just another chore for him.
Good thing I’m still surrounded by little ones who are not only willing but eager to help!
My sweet little Sophie was a hard little worker. When her mom came to pick her up, she told her she couldn’t leave yet because she wasn’t done. Her mom was kind enough to let her stay a little longer.
Sam joined in and helped me string the lights. At least he didn’t complain.
Juno’s job was to sit around and look pretty!
My sweet Bella also helped us put up the decorations. I didn’t take pictures of that but she was also very eager to help!

Yes, looking very festive,and I was also admiring the nice paint job on the mantle and the wall! The whole scene looks right off the pages of Better Homes an Gardens....
