Chicago Part Two

I wish that I had more pictures of the city but we were on a bus and it was hard to get pictures. That's the reason why some pictures have a glare or are blurry. Take my word for it though it is a beautiful city. On this particular day the weather was fabulous! The temperature was in the 70's. Very enjoyable! There was a little bit of fall colors to see but it just got better as we went further east.

This trolley was from a limo service. There was quite a few wedding parties with photographers in the park. I had to take this picture for my Sam. It is a sandwich shop near the park and De Paul University.
What do think you would find in Oz Park? Dorothy and The Tin Man of course! The Scarecrow was there too but my picture didn't turn out. De Paul University is in the heart of the city. It's a beautiful campus. This is the Chicago Trump Towers. It's still under construction but almost finished.

This is not a clear picture but I was trying to capture the busy side of the city. I hear it's like this even during cold winter days.

That evening we had dinner a German restaurant. It was the beginning of a lot of meals we were too full to eat!
Sitting at our table with us are Lil and Gene Zimmerman and Dennis and Donna Reich. Some of you North Dakota natives might recognize Gene from Zimmerman furniture commercials. He's a character! This is our driver Willie dropping us off at Union Station.
Alan enjoying the night life just outside Union Station. I'm sorry if this a little boring. It's probably like watching grandpa's travel slides.
