Our festivities began by taking the girls to get a pedicure. I wanted to do something fun and pamper them a little bit. I think they had fun! I think they were pleased with their shiny red toes.
Our tradition for Christmas eve is Papa Murphy’s pizza. You can never go wrong with pizza and it’s a no hassle dinner for me.

After dinner we go out to look at Christmas lights. Here I am all bundled up. It was a cold, cold night. Leah says I look like a burnt marshmellow. I really don’t care what she says I like to be warm. Alan sister Lois give me this coat years ago and I’m grateful I have it. It keeps me toasty warm in sub-zero temps. Here are the kids being crazy in the car. Such a fun time!
This is our favorite street in Bismarck. Northview lane. The whole street is lit up. It was a beautiful sight with the snow falling. It was a winter wonderland.
Here are the kids in Christmas pajamas. The kids love our Christmas traditions and don’t like to stray too far from them. It’s what makes the holiday so enjoyable for them. They don’t let me forget what they like. I love seeing my children happy enjoying the simple things. It’s what keep us focus on the birth of the Savior. This year we focused on bringing the joy of Christmas to families in need. It made the holidays more meaningful to all of us.
Alan got a special present this year. His sister Lois made him this beautiful Beatles quilt. It came with matching pillowcases. He is so thrill to have it. The kids are so jealous!!! She also made beautiful pillowcases for the kids. They love them very much. Thank you Lois!!
What a blessing to have our family together again!
