"Let's Hear It For The Boys"

We have been talking about getting satellite t.v. for a very long time. In 24 years of marriage we have had cable television only twice. In 1986 when we lived in Utah and in 1989 when we lived in California. Both times there was some of kind of special deal and it was affordable. Our children were deprived and have pretty much grown up having only four channels available to them. While the rest of the world moved on with technology the Millers did without.
According to our children we were the last in the world to get a microwave, computer, the Internet, and cell phones. So, we're a little slow giving in what's wrong with that?

So, after thinking and talking about it for so long, it all came done to two things. Alan's love for BYU football and my love for major league baseball. However I found out that it would cost $129.00 for just a half season of baseball package and as much as I love my Red Sox I just couldn't bring myself to agree to that. You've heard the saying "When Momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy"? Well, I decided that satellite t.v. wasn't worth getting without the baseball package and for a day or two it was clear we would continue on with what we already have.

Finally Sam convinced me that I would see more Red Sox games with satellite than I usually see. I also decided that Alan deserved it because he does so many nice things for me. Without his help I couldn't do all the thing I want to do. So, I gave in and here we are and here it is our new satellite dish.

Here are my boys happy as little clams with all the educational possibilities (Ha,Ha). I let Sam have day to watch whatever he wanted but after that we have rules we have to follow. Yes, I know I'm the "Fun Police"! Congratulations boys and you're Welcome!!!
