Alan Hits The Jackpot!

I'm still not very good at this blogging thing so forgive me all if this looks wacky! Here it goes! Alan celebrated his 47th birthday on June 6. He's a pretty humble guy so, he never ask for anything and he wouldn't complain if he didn't get anything. That's what I love about him. He would rather go without then to let us go without. He's not much into technology and thinks it's all too much and can't understand why someone would want some gadget that does so much. He likes to keep things simple. Can anyone say "fuddy duddy"! ( I'm sure I spelled that Wrong). So anyway, every year I like to go BIG with presents. Last year he got a new bike and the year before he got a new grill. He has been wanting an ipod shuffle so I decided to get him an ipod nano. I was planning on getting him a 4g thinking that would blow his socks off! As luck would have it (thanks to Monica) I found an 8g for the price of a 4g. I was way excited and couldn't wait! So after a delicious steak dinner, my famous potato salad and delicious cake he finally
opened his present. I think you could say he was pretty surprised! Well, at least I think he was.

I haven't heard any complaints and it makes me happy to see him happy!I got this great kiss out of the deal. We had a great time and I think it will be a Birthday to remember!
Thank goodness for Ammon who knows his way around an ipod! What would we do without him! To be continued!
